I'm looking for advice regarding my current situation. Moved into a flat 3 weeks ago and applied for council tax but the wrong price was sent to me as I'm living on my own and the discount wasn't applied. The box was checked on my application and I have since found the 'apply for discount' and done it again and haven't received another letter or email?
What happens if it goes unpaid? Do I just pay the full amount and get the discount back dated to be in the clear or wait for the correct bill to come through? Also the phones are closed so I'm out of options.
