I've always known that my landlord is a bit sus, but I've never understood the implications of it.
* My property is not registered on https://www.landlordregistrationscotland.gov.uk/
* My contract is not a private residential tenancy
* My rent is paid in cash each month
* No information about my deposit scheme was provided, although a deposit was taken
Although saying that, the flat is very nice relative to most of the other student holes I've seen and he fixes all the issues with relative speed. I'm about to make the last installment of our one year contract and intend to sign on for another year.
Aside from getting stung by the deposit, how else could I be fucked? |
