| Body | Bored as fuck, thought I'd see if there was anybody on this subreddit in/involved with any of the bands that frequented Ivory Blacks before corona, and if so, what their thoughts are on the scene, and how it could be improved?
Basically I want to use reddit's inherent anonymity to get people's true feelings on the way things are in the scene right now without fear of offending anyone or having their reputation ruined, as there's a lot of shit I think people just put up with to avoid seeming like a rude buzzkill. Hard rock bands on the same bill as slam bands, a few unnamed individuals who always seem to be at the centre of one controversy or another, the fact that M2TM is definitely rigged, the extremely amateur yet extremely prolific Doomsday Report, Rob Doom... I could go on. If you're in the same boat feel free to have a bitch below. Just be careful not to give yourself away or you'll spoil the fun. |
