| Body | So the yard to the tenement i live in is shared by 2 other closes, so 3 lots in all. The left side of the yard is mostly used by the close at the left side of mine, and the right half used by my close and the other close at the right side of mine. However it's shared amongst us all because there's a whole lot of bins for 25+ flats.
During quarantine, a neighbour on the left side has been doing up that side and has now started to build a fence directly down the middle of the yard, so that the left close has a private yard and the right side shares just one half with 2 closes.
It's the neighbours and their friends doing the work, not hired contractors. Are they in their right to do this, as in, is that technically their yard? Does the TMS allow this? Thanks. |
