TitleHow to go about finding somebody sound to flatshare with?

Wasn't sure where best to post this so thought I'd give here a bash. I'm a 25 year old guy and have been back in at my mum and dads for just over a year now after living myself in various places, and as wonderful as they are, I need to boost. I work full time in the city centre and earning comfortably to rent but probably not enough to rent a place on my own and keep a similar lifestyle.

I've looked all over the shop on Spareroom and there's a decent amount on offer but none seem to be as good as some of the flats I've seen just looking myself in Partick, Dennistoun or the Southside which would all be affordable with costs split down the middle. I really don't mind where I stay but I'd love for it to be fairly close to city centre, I'm currently in East Kilbride.

I'm as much looking for some advice on how to find people rather than an actual advert - but if it appeals to anyone, or if anybody's got a room they're looking to rent let me know. I reckon I'm friendly and I'd love to live with someone I could be mates with. I understand the importance of keeping the shared spaces clean. I love reading, I'm trying to be healthy, I'll talk your ear off about travelling and holidays , I'm a decent cook and I'm a big football fan. I like a drink and would love to be good enough mates with my flatmate to go on the odd night out, but I am definitely NOT looking for a constant party flat where everyone's on it all through the week. Those days are past now etc.
