Title	Does the road crossing the Kingston Bridge starting from Tradeston count as motorway?

Body	To be clear, I mean going up the ramp at the end of Cook Street that then leads to either Charing Cross/city centre/Expressway etc. There is a blue M8 sign as you enter the ramp, which I guess ought to make it unambiguous, but it isn't marked as part of the M8 on maps and when you plan a trip with the setting to avoid motorways both Google maps and my satnav are happy to take you along it. Asking cos I am accompanying my learner driver partner on drives around town ahead of her test, and we always avoid that bit, but maybe there's no need to.
