**Travel**

Due to urgent repairs to a bridge between Laurencekirk and Stonehaven all lines are closed. Disruption is expected until the end of the day on 23/01/21.

Train services between Queen Street and Aberdeen will be terminated at and started back from Montrose.

Public transport should only be used for essential reasons, to comply with the Scottish Government restrictions. If your journey is essential, please speak to a member of staff or press the help point for further information.

Option 1 - Check if a rail journey is currently possible..

* Use the National Rail Enquiries real-time journey planner to check if you can continue your journey by rail.

* If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.

Option 2 - Local Buses..

* Your rail tickets will be accepted on local bus routes as detailed below with Stagecoach East Scotland buses;

30 Arbroath to Montrose

39 Dundee & Arbroath

39A Arbroath via Dundee

39B Perth to Dundee via Invergowrie

73 Dundee to Arbroath via Broughty Ferry, Monifieth & Carnoustie

73A Dundee to Monifieth via Broughty Ferry

* Your rail tickets will be accepted on local bus routes as detailed below with Citylink between Dundee and Aberdeen on bus numbers M92 and M9.

Option 3 - Rail Replacement Transport..

Montrose Departures:

To Aberdeen - 06:26, 16,45, 18:50, 19:45, 20:50

To Stonehaven - 07:57, 09:38, 10:42, 12:32, 13:47, 14:35 & 15:50

Stonehaven departures:

To Montrose - 07:16, 08:50, 09:36, 10:42, 11:43, 12:45, 13:48, 14:40, 15:36, 16:30 & 17:43

Aberdeen departures:

To Montrose - 06:20, 18:40, 19:45

To Dundee 20:45 (then drop off as required to Queen Street) & 22:26

Dundee departures:

To Aberdeen - 22:15 & 23:47

Queen Street departures:

To Aberdeen - 21:40

Option 4 - Consider travelling later..

* You might wish to consider postponing your journey until our service's return to normal.

* We have damage to an under-bridge between Laurencekirk and Stonehaven.

* Both lines remain closed until end of service on Saturday 23rd January.

* Our staff are on-site and are working hard to complete these repairs.

* Staff on site advise that the line will remain closed this week, we'll continue to operate rail replacement transport between Stonehaven & Montrose, connecting with train services at either side of the closed line to keep you moving.

* Edinburgh - Arbroath train services will run as scheduled. (Passengers advised to alight at Dundee to connect with Queen Street to Montrose services for replacement buses)

* Queen Street - Aberdeen train services will terminate and start back from Montrose.

* Edinburgh - Aberdeen services cancelled.

* Services between Montrose and Inverurie run between Stonehaven and Inverurie only between 0700-1900, and rail replacement services will operate between Aberdeen & Stonehaven out with those times. We're working to operate earlier and later services to and from Stonehaven in the coming days.
