| Body | Moved into a new flat a few weeks ago. The external close front door has a latch lock with a snib on it, pretty bog standard.
Every time I’ve used the door has been on the latch (unlocked). I make a point of putting the latch up, hence locking the door. (Unless there’s an obvious reason why the door’s unlocked eg. Workmen in) But someone always puts it back on the latch straight away!
The other day I locked my neighbour out and I felt bad about it!
Should I keep defiantly doing what I’m doing or maybe only put the latch off at night? I want to feel secure but don’t want to piss off my neighbours. It defeats the purpose of have a secure entry if the door’s never locked IMO |
