TitleSo, Manchester just brought buses back under public control. Will Glasgow ever have the ambition?

For a city that loves to pride itself on being progressive, the deregulated and privatised transport system sure kicks a huge dent in that reputation. Not a peep from the Glasgow SNP. A few Labour councillors are for it, and the recent [SPT](http://spt.co.uk/2021/03/transforming-transport-for-strathclyde/) report seems to favour bus franchising, so there's some momentum at least. The activists at [Get Glasgow Moving](https://www.getglasgowmoving.org/) are putting in a valiant effort, but it's disheartening to not have leadership with forward-looking ambition that could give Glasgow a truly world-class integrated transport system anytime soon. The SNP have always been shitty on transport issues, though, so I can't say I'm surprised.
