| Body | The floor in my lounge was painted by a previous owner, and I've been looking at getting it sanded back to a more natural finish. People have said you can do it yourself, which I am considering, but I'd still have to pay £150+ on equipment hire so I was wondering how much more it would be to just have someone do the whole job and definitely not cock it up.
I've also read that the deafening material (usually ash) between tenement floors has often gone missing by this point, so was considering lifting the floors and checking whilst I've had to clear the room anyway. My lounge is above the downstairs neighbours bedroom which I've always been quite conscious of. However I can't find any companies online that do replacement - I might be looking for the wrong thing.
My lounge is roughly 16m^2
Has anyone had either of these done? How much did it cost? Can you recommend a company? |
