TitleTenancy Issue - Update
AuthorSubstantialJeweler40
Body
I made a post a while back about a bit of a nightmare I was having with a new tenancy: [https://www.reddit.com/r/glasgow/comments/m141lo/new\_tenancy\_issue/](https://www.reddit.com/r/glasgow/comments/m141lo/new_tenancy_issue/)

Just wanted to thank everyone who responded to me with their advice. Was super helpful in getting the issue sorted. I managed to write the letting agent a letter detailing all the ways they broke the tenancy agreement and basically said that if they didn't pay us our first months rent back and the deposit in full, we would be going to a solicitor about it. Unexpectedly, they agreed to that pretty much immediately and we got all of our money back without much hassle. For those wondering who the letting agent was, it was Citres. So thanks again, really do appreciate the help and goes to show that it can make a difference to know your rights. Have a lovely Easter weekend!
