Was at riverside this morning with my partner playin a bit of footy. We both heard a buzzing noise until she points it out to me and it's a tiny drone with the camera faced towards us. Was just hovering for a few seconds before we decided to ignore it. Creeped me a wee bit. Pilot plodding along afterwards not saying anything. The drone was about 7 or 8ft away from us when it was hovering.
I understand some people might react positively to drones coz they're fun wee things to look at but my partner and I weren't sure about this.
I was really conflicted on talking to the guy and asking him to blur us or just delete the footage of us entirely. But I know theres really finicky laws regarding drone photography and that me talking to him probably wouldn't have made any difference regarding filming consent.
Should I still have said something or was I better off not to? |
