TitleLooking for Chinese language exchange
AuthorLilXiu
Body
I'm working on a project which involves translating music vocabulary into Chinese, and I need a bit of help with checking the words that I've chosen. It would be a plus if you're already familiar with basic technical music vocab (especially guitarists or bassists). For example, I need to learn words like frets, amplifier, rhythm, "playing in time", metronome, timbre, pickups... stuff like that.

I currently speak 普通话 at about HSK4 level.

My first language is English, and I'm near native in French, so can offer help with those in exchange. I can also teach music - electric and upright bass, guitar, jazz, improvising, music theory, composition. Alternatively I can offer a coffee/meal/bevvy if you'd prefer that.

I've been getting in touch with some redditers in other parts of the world, but now that Glasgow is opening up I would really like to be able to meet in person to do this rather than add more to the endless Zoom calls.

Please let me know if you'd be interested in this. Thanks! (I am 24/F by the way)
