Hello folks, I am an international student now in Glasgow and this is the first year here. First, congratulations to SNP for the win of election. I really don’t understand why many Scottish people want independence from the UK. I am curious for the reasons. What benefits can independence bring to Scotland people, e.g. better income or less pressure from UK gov? Thanks. My supervisor is pro-union. I don’t know if it is acceptable to ask him about his opinion.
