TitleBooking tables at pubs - your thoughts please
Authorsupergraeme
Body
Hello all.

I'm coming up to Glasgow for the weekend on the 28th for two nights with the missus and I'm trying to work out which pubs to book (or not). Someone recommeded Bier Halle but that's all booked up as it stands. Another mate suggested Hootenanny but they're walk-ins only.

In people's experience so far, has booking been essential? Have you been able to get a table as a walk-in? I know this is all a bit unknown for everyone, but I'm not sure what to do at the moment so I'm looking for any thoughts. I'm wondering whether it will be as necessary after the 17th once drinking inside opens up again (and also next week's Lottery numbers)?

And if anyone has any good pub (and dinner) recommendations, they'd be very gratefully received. Staying near George Square.

Thanks!
