Body | Sounds like a ridiculous question, something I’d never thought I’d need to do or even think of. I doubt many will have experience of this but i hope someone works for the NHS or knows!
A year ago I seen a NHS consultant who diagnosed me with two conditions (Fibromyalgia and EDS) At the time it came as a shock as my previous history was Arthritis as a child, and joints had been playing up and I was expecting that it had returned. (Worst case) Anyways was quite shocked with new diagnosis and had no clue what these conditions meant, I asked her to clarify and for more information and a few other things that didn’t make sense. She then gave me a 3rd diagnosis blaming my mental health and now it’s on my health records this fancy named condition and I just feel if I hadn’t have tried to understand more about my health that day. I wouldn’t have been given that.
To me I know it’s only health professionals that see these records but I think will they just see me as someone that shouldn’t be taken seriously |
