TitleLooking for advice: selling a flat which has outstanding communal repair works

Hi folks,

I am just wondering if anyone has gone through a similar experience to me and how it worked out for them.

Basically, I have lived in a tenement property for about 5 years now. Recently, a survey was carried out by a chartered surveyor, who then produced a report with a list of recommended and required repairs. I want to sell my property as I want to move to a house with a garden, but I've heard that it can be an issue to sell a flat which has outstanding communal repair works which have not yet been agreed to be repaired. I'm happy to leave some sort of retainer with a potential buyer, but just wondering if there are any other kinds of risks involved?

Sorry if this isn't the best place to ask. I'm just really quite stressed out about this and doing everything I can to find out what my options are.

Any help is massively appreciated.
