TitleAdvice re building a shed ??

Hiyas.

I'm thinking about putting up a shed in the back garden for use as an art studio/ workshop. I've read the size/position etc limitations on [https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=17286](https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=17286) but I'm still full of lingering questions...

Besides the max 50% of the rear garden and max 4 metres high, below which you don't need Planning Permission, will I still need a Building Warrant? And if so, how do those cheap prefab B&Q sheds satisfy GCC requirements?

According to neighbourhood gossip, any shed needs to be *'temporary'* whatever that means, and can't have *foundations* or running water... However the site above makes no mention of that, nor building materials.

Ideally I'd like a modest soundproof workshop space in concrete block, with a beer fridge, toilet & shower, and maybe a wee wood burning stove. I have no plan at all of living in it - just welding, carpentry, plaster casting & carving etc.

Can anyone add anything constructive to my evil plan?
