Me (italian - 5 yrs in London) and my partner (Chinese) are moving to Glasgow this September. We are very excited and I wanted ask for some advice on our first challenge: finding a place to rent.

1. What platforms/websites/services do you recommend for renting?
2. What areas/neighbourhood do you recommend and why?
3. What is a reasonable budget for our requirements?
*Our requirements*
* no more than 4 miles / 6 km from Glasgow University
* 2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom
* prefer private landlords to agencies
* close to parks/river (nice to have)
