Looking for abit of advice regarding the transfer of funds for a roof repair in a common close.
Basically we have had a quote from the roofing contractor which each flat has agreed to. Our issues are surrounding how we collect the funds securely from each homeowner securely in a common pot to be used to pay the contractor.
We are sceptical about using the factor due major issues with them previously and we would grudge at paging a solicitor to hold the funds.
Does anyone know of any way in which each homeowner can pay into a common fund or pot which can then be held securely until which point that we must pay the roofer.
