| Body | Does anyone know about the old warehouse in Gorbals used as an artists space and occasional gig venue in the early 2000s? There was a police station in Bridgeton used in a similar way but the one I'm thinking of was called The Chateau. From what I've gathered, Franz Ferdinand used to use it for band practice and then gave some of the space out to artists.
I've been told it was burnt down in an arson fire but I can't find any information online as to when this happened.
It definitely has a legacy as I'm seeing vague mentions of it online, help me find out more about it! |
