| Body | Firstly I’m a part time commuter cyclist myself so I was looking to put this out there for opinions. I always give cyclists plenty of space as it’s a pet hate when I’m cycling myself.
Next to Queen’s Park this afternoon come up to a cyclist in my car and begin to pass. He starts veering into middle of the road while looking back over his shoulder at me. So I pass him even further over fully in the opposite lane with plenty of space. He was ringing his bell at me. So I get along to the lights at the top of Vicky road and he catches up and informs me I passed too close. I said I’d left plenty of room to which he replied the law is 1.5m obviously gunning for a fight and raging. I simply said you’re fine cheers and drove off, the lights having gone green and refusing to take the bait.
