| Body | I left uni in August and have been slated to start a job as a newly qualified nurse in October. I've been trying endlessly since New Year's to try and get a flat only to be bailed on by friends, have a bereavement, exams and many other issues of life besides.
Since I left Uni, every couple days, I'll put out dozens of emails/phonecalls to letting agents across Glasgow enquiring about properties left right and centre, only to either be ignored or told that the property was taken ages ago and they haven't taken the advert down. It's completely disheartening.
I had a mental breakdown today because this is literally my only barrier to getting started at my first job and they are piling on the pressure to start as soon as possible because the NHS is in crisis, and here I am wondering where I'm going to live.
If anyone in Glasgow has any advice for at the very least getting my foot in the door regarding renting a place, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm at the my wit's end, I really have no clue what else I can do. |
