I'm relatively new to the country so I don't have much knowledge regarding all these matters.
I recently moved and received a council tax notice.
The notice only has 4 monthly payments, I have an open contract with my landlord which means I can leave when I want with a months notice. I was under the impression that the council divides the payments over 10 months but I am only given the option for 4, starting from November 2021 to February 2022.
Period of charge is 26 Aug 2021 to 3 March 2022.
Is it possible to get this distributed over 10 months? and in the case I do not intend to stay a full year, does that mean I do not have to pay the entire years council tax? |
