TitleGetting my deposit back

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but looking for some advice. I moved into a property Nov 2019 renting through an agency in Glasgow (happy to name, shame and slag to the high heavens once this is resolved). Over the tenancy there were various problems including a leaking boiler which when reported “wasn’t an emergency so can wait till someone is available 24 hours later), a cleaner had to come back out when we moved in as there was cigarette ash over the bathroom, dust under the beds abs the carpets were grimey. Anyhow, fast forward to 02/08 I emailed to hand my months notice to leave the flat - tried to ring 3 times but their phone was turned off (we have to contact the company through a woman’s mobile)
No response. Contacted the main office which we’ve had no correspondence with to explain how Ive handed in my notice but haven’t heard a peep. By 12/08 I finally get a call back from this woman to register I’m leaving the property.
I left the property 29/08 and my tenancy officially ended 03/09.

I emailed 2 weeks ago as I’ve not had any correspondence from Safety Deposit Scotland or any indication of a ‘check out’ of my room (which I asked to be present for but they said they couldn’t do it before I moved out- despite giving a months notice…

It’s now been over 30 WORKING days since moving out and still nothing I don’t trust the agency to do anything and they’ve been a disgrace to rent from. Is there any legislation about it taking so long for a deposit to be returned that I automatically get it back or what can I do?
