Having an issue with a particular landlord and have found its not just me, he has a few flats and is causing a lot of problems for multiple tenants and people that own flats adjacent or below his.
His name is Mohammed Ashraf, his flats are falling apart, have major damp issues, flooding neighbors. he does his own repairs, claiming to be an expert at everything (hes not, his repairs are the worst ive ever seen) - he has a few flats I know of in Cessnock and more elsewhere.
he constanstly floods the flats below him, he will purposely leave leaks for months to cause damage to neighbors properties if he doesnt like them.
The council dont seam to be interested in helping with this.
He occasionally uses GPS properties for letting some out and they have lost their licence (and are completely useless) but continue to operate with no issues from police or the council.
Mohammed Ashraf is also the named landlord that tenants give but not always the registered ones on the properties (IRAM ASHRAF being one, his wife being another)
He is such a horrible person to confront aswell, if you question anything he just shouts at you that you are a racist.
Is there anything that can actually be done or is he just allowed to operate and cause thousands of pounds worth of damage to tenements? its now been years that ive been having issues with him and always been reporting them but nothing is changing.
Has anyone else had any encounters with them? |
