| Body | My factor is James Gibb and they are absolutely dreadful.
My close lock has broken about 6 times since I moved in to my flat just over a year ago. Most of the time, I have no idea how it breaks but recently my neighbour said that some local neds broke it, honestly it seems like a pretty easy lock to break anyway.
I've emailed my letting agency about 6 or 7 times now and they just keep saying that it is with my factors. Today, 1 month after me reporting the issue, they emailed me back and hinted that someone in the flat doesn't want to pay get the lock fixed.
I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do, I get stonewalled and get the buck passed to the factors by the letting agency. The factors won't talk to me because i'm not the account holder and the letting agency / landlord won't authorise me to talk to the factors.
I've also looked in to going to the housing and property chamber but the form seems to be blaming my landlord and not the factors. |
