| Body | My neighbour’s children don’t live with him but visit occasionally for a week or so at a time. They are 2 young girls, 6- 8 ish, they always arrive in the middle of the night (12-1am) and proceed to constantly scream/cry/ race around for hours into the wee hours. The adults shout a lot, it sounds like the kids are falling over a lot (lots of huge thuds). This continues every day and night until they leave. The whole thing is really chaotic and upsetting to hear. The other day I saw the neighbour drive off in his car while one of the wee girls was still getting in the back seat, leg hanging out the door. He’s an angry man who seems to have issues, from other experiences we’ve had with him in the building.
It seems weird to contact police about this- is there someone else you can contact about child welfare? I don’t want to stick my nose in but something feels pretty wrong about it. |
