TitleQueer Glaswegians, do you feel safe?

I'm intrigued to know more about this and will site a specific recent video for reference, but intrigued to know as locals, do you feel safe being yourself in and around the city? I was just today watching a video ([linked here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CX9ZPmGRDcU)) with two pretty famous American drag queens off Drag Race, who claimed often when visiting Glasgow in particular, they were advised not to walk to gigs, or be around the streets too long in drag, and did feel pretty intimidated out and about in Glasgow for fear of getting attacked, one saying they felt it was more unsafe than the majority of places in America.

I've certainly had isolated incidents, namely on nights out, which is why I stick to places like Polo and AXM now. I try my best aswell to get out of a place early enough I can get straight in a taxi at the nearest rank so I'm not hanging about the streets too long. I also think back to some of the vandalisation on Queer venues during the pandemic when places were closed long term. Just curious to know the thoughts of other Queer people in the city, and how you think as a city we're fairing when it comes to these issues?
