TitleEvening activities not involving alcohol

Does anyone have some good recommendations for something to do in the city centre, in the evenings, that doesn't involve alcohol?
I find Glasgow kind of shuts come 5pm, with just pubs and bars open. Besides Tchai ovna and Tinderbox, most cafés are shut too.
Drinking even seems to be a big thing at cinemas and bowling alleys.
Don't get me wrong, I love a wee drink, but options for more folks would be good too.
