| Body | Planned on getting the 11.20 train from central to Wishaw tonight. 5 minutes before the train’s due to leave it vanishes from the board. Asked a staff member and he said the train was never going to run, it shouldn’t have been on the board. Said there was nothing they could do and that everyone had to find their own way home out of their own pocket.
Eventually me and 3 other folk got a taxi to Wishaw and it cost us £65. As we were in the taxi queue, staff were turning folk away from the station and closing the gates.
Asked if I could get a refund for the ticket I’d purchased and the guy said I’d have to pay a £10 admin fee to to do.
£10 to refund a ticket that cost £3.15 for a train that never existed.
