| Body | I’ve never owned my own home before so a lot of this situation is new to me. Also, I don’t have a partner and none of my family live in the UK and none of my pals over here own their own place - so I’ve not really got many options for bouncing my thoughts off people.
The only things I’ve got planned for after moving is getting a sparky in to do electrical test (cause the wiring is ancient), and an asbestos test kit for the artex ceiling. Anything I’m missing? Checking for lead pipes? The flat seems in a good condition otherwise so I think I’ll just take the decoration slowly.
What about non-decoration things to keep in mind around moving to an own place. Introducing yourself to the neighbours? Getting specific information out of the factors?
