| Body | We have two bins, one for general rubbish and a blue recycling bin for plastic, paper and cardboard. They both get emptied fortnightly. No glass or garden bins. Our neighbours one street over have 5 bins as does every other street in the area. I phoned South Lanarkshire council and they said that they cannot provide our street with any more bins and just to put glass in with the general rubbish.
I dont drive, so taking all the glass to the recycling centre every few weeks isn't an option.
Our general waste fills up too fast. There are 5 of us in the house. I'm considering firing our glass into the blue recycling bin but don't want to do this if it's an absolute dick move, so I'm interested to hear opinions on this. |
