A couple of years ago (2019 maybe?) GCC announced a self-build scheme pilot. They sold six plots in Maryhill just off the canals.
I learned about it late, long after they'd been sold, and signed up for updates/info. The solitary page on the council website says, "We aim to release enough plots to meet the demand for self build." But I've heard nothing about future developments beyond the pilot.
Anyone have insider info? Anyone waiting along with me?
Every time I pass a massive new development, I feel so sad. That's another self build opportunity gone so Persimmon can throw up yet more shite stock. |
