im going to see kings of leon at the hydro tomorrow with my wife who needs a wheelchair

the last time we seen them at the hydro we just got the bus in visited a few pubs got something to eat then walked along, done the same back however she was able to walk by herself then

its only in the last few months ive got the wheelchair in a bid to get her out more and the first thing ive noticed is how absolutely shite a majority of paths are for wheelchair users

im in two minds whether to bus it in to glasgow and just figure things out there like we used to do or to just get taxis to and from the venue, i dont mind a bit of pushing and would love to be able to do something like we used to however i dont want it to turn into a fucking nightmare

i cant see me doing the walk from central to the hydro will probs taxi that but whats it like trying to get around the city centre in a wheelchair?
