| Body | We're selling our wee flat in Shawlands as we need more space for our impending arrival, & have found a cracking flat around the area of Wardlaw Drive/Avenue for about 75k less than the same flat would cost in Shawlands.
Only thing is we don't know the area too well.
On SIMD it is a nice shade of blue, but does anyone have any good or bad experiences of Rutherglen?
What we're looking for is good transport to town for work, a nice café or two, similar for pubs, nice parks to walk the dog, safe & good access to the countryside.
Any idea why Rutherglen is so much cheaper than the rest of the south side, even some less salubrious bits?
Any tips, hints, warnings or reassurance gratefully received. |
