Body | Unusual question πββοΈ
Got a letter from the licensing board - pub beside me wants to expand their indoor and outdoor seating, extend opening times and create a covered outdoor drinking area.
I like the pub but we already have plenty noise and disturbance from them (more the people leaving on the way home).
Had anyone objected to something like this in Glasgow before?
Basically
- Noise from singing / cars/taxis / chanting
- Litter / Glass / randoms peeing in closes π
- Drunk people trying buzzers late at night / forcing door (had to replace close lock 3 times over the pass year).
- Rear garden is surrounded by the beer garden which makes it pretty uncomfortable to use despite the wall.
Anyone have any experience of objecting to variations? Unfortunately a few of my neighbours are away on holiday so wonβt have time to read the letter.
Is there specific things or policy I need to link my objection to?Or is it just the reasons listed above?
Thanks for any help, Iβve not done this before so much appreciated π |
