| Body | Hopefully this is the right sub - I’m currently working in London for the Fire Service, but I’m from Fife originally (family are all from Glasgow).
I’m thinking ahead to next year, and planning on moving back to Scotland for family + QoL reasons. Thinking Glasgow or Edinburgh, leaning Glasgow.
Put simply, I miss my family, I miss Scotland, and I miss green space. I’ll have gotten a decent amount of career development in the c2y I’ll have been in London, so the time seems right for a move.
Essentially, does anyone know what the job outlook is in local government/Civil Service/Policy roles atm? I’ve got 2y of experience in project work down here, EDI + teaching experience on top of that, and a Masters degree. 24 and early in my career, as well.
Hopefully this makes a form of sense - any tips/leads welcome. |
