TitleRecommendations for painters / decorators / joiners?

Wonder if anyone can help. 6 months into living in my new place (25 years old, ground floor 2 bedroom flat), I’ve come to realise just what a bad job was done in doing the place up for sale. It’s been rented in the past and the usual bare minimum of maintenance had been done in the past.

Stuff needing done includes:

- Replacing crappy laminate and whatever’s under it with something decent and actually wood (vinyl tiling in kitchen and bathroom).
- Carpeting in one room.
- Replacing the doors and doorframes they butchered when putting down the laminate. Skirting boards at the same time.
- Moving some electrical sockets set into the wall.
- Making good some wall damage in plasterboard.
- Repaint of three rooms with something that doesn’t rub off when you brush against it.

I know that's a pretty big list and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. If anyone has recommendations of contractors for any or all of this, or even a project manager who could keep it under control, I’d be very grateful.

Thanks to you all for any help you can suggest!
