TitleExtortionate price of a pint of Guinness!

Body
My local in Shawlands, the Quaich, charges £3.15 for a pint of Guinness. Happened to be in the "West End" this afternoon and was charged £5.50 for a pint in the Doublet in Park Rd. I was expecting to pay a bit more but thought this was outrageous. Talked to some young guys there who said they pay £8 or £9 a pint at festivals like Trnsmt. What do you guys think is acceptable to pay for a pint in a regular bar, old man's pub type place? This old dude will be sticking closer to home in future.
