Body | Absentee landlord in our building has turned one of the flats in our close into an AirB&B and seems to be in the process of doing the same to the other one they own. My understanding is that airB&Bs/short term lets in Glasgow require a license and these are not generally given to places that have a shared entrance, which ours does. Question is who to complain/ report them to? Is it the council or should the factor be the first point of contact?
Not against short term lets per-se but this landlord has been really disrespectful to others in the building, leaving old fridges/furniture in the back close for months, rubbish/ broken glass on the stairs and now lots of late night noise/disruption from airB&b guests. |
