TitleOld bike servicing

Hi there!

I am looking to start cycling to work more regularly so looking to get my old Raleigh road bike out of the shed and back on the road.

It has seen some fair use and I’m not expecting it to ever ride like new again, but I would love to get it serviced by someone who really knows what they’re doing (rather than me pissing around with it/generally making it worse). The main issue with the bike is the brakes, or lack there of. I think it could do with some new pads and a hefty cable adjustment as I’m pretty sure the ones that are on it are original.

Let me know if you have any suggestions of places that will do right by my old bike, without having to spend a fortune!

Cheers!
