Body | My work sent out a notice today saying no employees will be working Monday 19th as a mark of respect for the Queen, so we should all be taking a day of annual leave or accept it as unpaid leave. I don’t support the monarchy, and have no interest in grieving for the Queen, so I’m incredibly frustrated by this. I’d honestly prefer to just crack on and keep working. Voiced this to my boss and they’ll be taking further action on it, but I expect the senior management will reject any complaints.
I’m just wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation or can give me any advice. Cheers. |
