| Body | Sorry... this is a daft one.
When i was a young guy in a high school outside Glasgow we had a weekly tradition. All the guys would be in the changing rooms for PE and someone would shout out some sort of saying or chant which ended with the words "hammers on...now". Everyone would have to freeze until someone lost it or started laughing, at which point everyone would pile in on that person pretend hitting them.
It was all in fun, not bullying, just young lads having a laugh.
Does anyone recognise this? Always wondered what it was about and what the chant was. Something you do as a kid without wanting to admit you don't have a clue what it's all about. |
