| Body | I was at Kevin Bridges tonight. First time I’ve seen the £1 deposit glasses. They’re plastic mugs with a handle. Good idea as you can carry multiple drinks in each hand, as the handles slot together. You get your £1 back if you return the cup after - they refund it to your card.
There’s loads sitting around, but the maximum you can get as a refund is 6 at a time. They have signs saying that for any not returned, £1 goes to a good cause.
Has anyone hung around and gathered them up? Will anyone stop you taking back 6 at a time, more than once? Standing in the queue to filter out the arena, you could have collected 20 in my row alone. I’m a tight bastard so would happily spend half an hour to make £50 to cover my ticket price. There were folk taking back towers of them, but max refund is £6 per visit.
Good to see them get rid of single use plastic, but don’t know if this is for every gig, or just Kev.I.N |
