TitleHousing Association Study Help ?
AuthorPapajG
Body
Right before Coronavirus shite started I got a studio flat from the Rutherglen Housing Association for £189 a month.
I ordered carpets and the next day Boris shutdown the whole country so my carpets are paid for and never came, am unable to move into the flat cos its all bare and I dont have facilities to cook or anything on top of that.

I knew I was gonna have to renovate and thats why am making this post because surely the housing can provide some sort of help towards that.

The house has no hot water, yet water heater switch is on and all valves are open, no water boiler in sight, shower is one of those electric wall things and the shower drain is super slow.

The “kitchen” sink has a foul smell under it (I bleached everything and it still smells) so I think there is mould there under the unit. Thing is the wall behind that unit also has a gash in it. And I want to replace that whole sink unit so I can put a washing machine there as the other side of the room doesn’t have available drainage and water supply. Could the housing help me with this as I think the whole wall might have to be replaced and piping replaced, and while we do that a plug could be installed there to connect the washing machine.

Also as am unable to live in the property can I get some sort of discount on rent?

Since the floor is bare this is the perfect time to do major renovation.

Any advice? Images on imgur for visual reference.
