TitleNoise next to railway and Clyde expressway

We're moving to Glasgow for July, currently looking at flats in the West End area. Found a really nice one on Minerva Way. Problem is, the building is one of the southern facing ones, adjacent to the railway westbound from the Exhibition Centre station and the Clyde Expressway. Since we can't view the flat in person, it's hard to know how good the noise insulation of those buildings are.

I'm normally a heavy sleeper, but the problem is all of us will be sometimes working nightshifts (junior doctors) so the daytime traffic noise may be too much.

Was wondering if anyone who has lived in those buildings or in that area, or in similar types of situations had some advice or experience about this?
