Title(Lawyer recommendation) Need advice dealing with my deceased father's Will

Hey all,

My Dad passed away in March, and I'm currently in the process of dealing with his Will. I'm the sole beneficiary, and have now been made an executor of the Will. He has assets, land, bonds, pensions and life insurance that need to be transferred to me.

The lawyer that he (and my extended family) largely used has been my only port of contact, but I found out today that she is charging me £275p/h which left my jaw on the floor, so before things progress any further, I wanted to hear if that was a reasonable price?

Have you had a similar experience in the past? Do you have any firms/lawyers you could recommend?

As far as wills go its pretty cut and dry, but I've had next to no communication over the process and what is expected of me as time goes on, so I'm looking for somebody new to help me settle it.
