Well they’re calculated by the price to buy fuel from the wholesaler (+ the energy companies needing to make profits through markup and for other areas of the business like offices and staff) which is subject to supply and demand.
If you have demand through people using lots of energy and not paying their bills then it’s gonna cost more for others because they’re not making the same profit percentages and need to answer to shareholders no? |
