We went on Sunday night. Japanese food in Glasgow is generally a letdown and this was sadly no exception. Firstly the kushiyaki - the lynchpin of izakaya dining - was off because they're 'a chef down'. What?

Tonkatsu ramen was exactly the same tasteless, oily excuse for Kyushu's finest I was served when it was Ramen Dayo.

The karaage was not karaage. Just enormous pieces of greasy KFC style fried chicken served with mayo and gochujang sauce for some reason. Fine if that's what you're after.

Gyoza were ok but also greasy and probably from See-Woo or similar.

The staff were pleasant enough but disinterested. Premises shabby, untidy and a bit sticky. Will be giving this place the same wide-berth as Ramen Dayo.
